Fire at the Marsham Arms

The Marsham Arms Inn suffered a serious fire that started at 5.00pm on Sunday July 11th. As a result we are currently closed for business.

We are planning to re-open in February 2011 and will place regular updates on the redevelopment of the Inn on this website.

We would like to thank our staff and customers for all the support they have given us at this difficult time.

Re-development of the Marsham Arms Coaching Inn

Every cloud has a silver lining and the damage to the Inn has created an opportunity for us to redevelop both the Inn and the Gardens of this charming historic site. Details of the development will be posted here as construction gets underway.

What is promised is a focus on bringing together the best of the old and the new in an exciting resetting of this Historic Coaching Inn, high quality hotel accommodation, an open aspect to the new tap room, bars and restaurant to provide modern Inn dining and accommodation with views into our new Oasis Garden.
