Nigel and Jean Bradley

 

Nigel Bradley arrived at The Marsham Arms in 1963 when it was one of the first pubs serving food in the surrounding area.

Nigel studied Hotel Management & Catering at Norwich City College.

In 1976 he became the Licensee. In the early 80’s the interest for food in public houses was growing. Nigel developed the food offerings, taking the menu from bar snacks to a full dining experience. Taking the business forward Nigel built 8 hotel rooms in 1989, this proved so popular that an additional 3 rooms were added in the 90’s. The 90’s also saw the addition of a function room.

In 2005 Jean joined Nigel.

2010 saw the pub sadly close for 10 months due to fire damage. 2011 saw a beautifully refurbished pub re-open with 5 new hotel rooms & a further developed food offering.

Present day, Nigel is still happy & always striving to improve the business.

When asked what the Marsham Arms mantra would be, Nigel & Jean replied…
